Who is Jeremy Allen White?
Jeremy Allen White was born in 1991. He has become a standout name in both film and television. Most fans know him as Phillip “Lip” Gallagher from the hit series “Shameless,” where he shone from 2011 to 2021.
His portrayal of Lip, a smart yet troubled youth in a chaotic family, earned him widespread acclaim. He also got a nomination for a Critics’ Choice Television Award in 2014 for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.
But White’s acting range extends far beyond the Gallagher household. He appeared in the thriller series “Homecoming” (2018). He also made his mark in films like “Afterschool,” “Twelve,” “After Everything,” and “The Rental.”
His talent has been recognized with many awards, including a Critics Choice Award and a Golden Globe for his work on “The Bear.” In “The Bear,” he plays Carmy, a classically trained chef.
Outside of acting, White’s life is filled with personal milestones. He married Addison Timlin in 2019 and filed for divorce in May 2023. They have two children, Ezer Billie (born in October 2018) and Dolores Wild (born in December 2020).

Despite the glamor and accolades, White describes his life as “incredibly normal.” He grounds himself in his family amidst the whirlwind of fame.
White’s journey into acting is rooted in his early years as a trained dancer. Excelling in tap, jazz, and ballet, he later shifted his focus to acting, a decision that has paid off.
